THE ASOG BUSINESS PROCESS
ASOG's step-by-step process was developed over many years of collective experience and ensures that we fully understand and know what the customer needs and wants. The basic process is outlined below:
- The Initial Meeting: ASOG brings to each customer the quality, expertise, and efficiency of the highest standard. The intent of our initial meeting is to present the customer with ASOG's credentials and capabilities, and to initiate the fact finding process that clearly identifies and defines the needs and priorities of each individual customer. Our goal is to become a "trusted partner".
- Development of Functional Requirements: The next step begins the process of understanding the customer's requirements. This is accomplished through a detailed functional requirements analysis that considers operational and regulatory requirements, personnel, space, equipment, systems, and inter/ intra agency integration requirements.
- Comprehensive Client-Specific Action Plan: Once the requirements are determined and agreed with by the customer, ASOG develops a comprehensive and client-tailored Action Plan that can be implemented in a timely, effective, and cost effective manner. ASOG constantly keeps the customer fully engaged in the decision process to ensure organizational buy-in, under-standing, and cost-effective implementation.
- Action Plan Implementation: The Action Plan includes all operational requirements, the primary personnel involved from the customer's office as well as ASOG's consultants. The plan outlines a course of action, proposes a timeline that has been approved by the customer's management and meets the customer's budget requirements. The customer is constantly kept involved through a series of Interim Process Reviews (IPRs).
- Project Completion and Acceptance: ASOG's experience demonstrates that by keeping the customer fully apprised of all current, ongoing, and planned activities, the customer maintains a closer involvement and buy-in to the project at hand. ASOG's continuous focus on management's project involvement assists in ensuring timely project completion and rapid acceptance.
